To write we’ve got to read. It’s not like we need to work hard at it, it just needs to be interesting for it to stick and influence. There’s no greater imperative for any artist I feel, than to let that curiosity take them deep into a subject. This is where our best work comes from. Don’t try make things happen. Let it happen.
