Well, there is no solving it because if we did we would cease to exist. We would cross the event horizon and be obliterated. The excitement of the game is the not knowing. The wonder of art is it’s boundless and unpredictable creative expression. What we know is useless information, what we don’t know is where the fun and discovery is. That’s why it’s worth exploring.

I don’t think we reveal the truth, I think we create it. It’s not already there hiding, waiting for us to find it. I think there’s only potential, then by our poking around, it collapses into stuff.

We’re an expression of whatever it is, and it will keep going on. It’s gestalt. See how dust blows around and gathers in corners where concrete paths meet tarmacadam roads – the deadest stuff mankind has ever made – and see how, when left alone, plants grow there. Leave it alone long enough and trees will grow there. so I don’t think we are capable of destroying the planet because the organism will always find stasis, just like the human body does. We’re naive and arrogant to think we could possibly destroy the planet. The planet will instead destroy us, because it is us who are the out of control infection.

But it doesn’t matter, because as Cleo in automata says to Jacq as she walks away, “life will find a way”. (Or something like that I can’t remember exactly)

I’m not even going to read that back to myself. I know it’s a jumbled response 😬
