Larry G. Maguire
The Sunday Letters Podcast is the weekly audio newsletter from organisational psychologist Larry Maguire on the meaning & purpose of daily work and our paradoxical relationship with it. We explore how we may break free from tiresome means-to-an-end labour and take command of their own working lives. Topics include solo working, careers, entrepreneurship, small business economics, society and culture. Content follows the written newsletter, which goes out to subscribers every Sunday.

Good Sunday Good People • #SundayLetters Pt 1 The Podcast Experiment • #SundayLetters Pt2 The Podcast Experiment I’ve been conducting a bit of a podcast experiment recently. It involves visiting an iPhone application called Anchor on a daily basis, where I record material for later publishing as a podcast episode. I like working with audio. I like to write too but writing an articles takes longer to create than recording audio and for some reason, which I have not yet explored in depth, requires more mental work to deliver my thoughts. Audio is easier – you can just hit record and go. At least it’s like that with Anchor. Ok, so it’s not always that simple, sometimes I don’t manage to extract my point very well and I need to re-record the piece. But by and large it is quicker to create. It’s easier to consume for you too, so driving a familiar route to work, or running your usual track in the park means you can consume audio tracks.
