I don’t believe in a thing called luck. It’s simply an idea, a misaligned one at that. Everyone talks about luck as if it’s a real tangible thing, it drives me crazy. Luck is a word that’s too often used when something can’t be explained. Just because an event (success in this case) can not be completely traced back to a single source, doesn’t mean it wasn’t as a result of a specific action or series of actions. The Universe doesn’t by operate by chance, by happenstance. Its not random.

I should say here that I’m not bashing your article, I admire your work. It’s just that the idea that some random force is at work in the Universe determining our future is totally crazy to me.

There are patterns of creation that have been know for a long time such as The Fibonacci Sequence; http://m.livescience.com/37470-fibonacci-sequence.html.

Laws of creation, existence, and cause and effect can not be applied today to one person’s experience, and then not applied tomorrow to another’s. There are laws of creation which our lives are interwoven with. Success or failure (however you define them) happen for a reason. Reasons which are in our control if we can just understand that we get to determine our own future. If you want something, then go get it. Period. (I think that’s in The Pursuit of Happiness).
