Larry G. Maguire
The Sunday Letters Podcast is the weekly audio newsletter from organisational psychologist Larry Maguire on the meaning & purpose of daily work and our paradoxical relationship with it. We explore how we may break free from tiresome means-to-an-end labour and take command of their own working lives. Topics include solo working, careers, entrepreneurship, small business economics, society and culture. Content follows the written newsletter, which goes out to subscribers every Sunday.

It was controversial and the reporter latched on to it. He pressed her for an answer but she maintained a robotic political response and it made me think. Political responses allow us to align with the bureaucracy of institutional thought, blocking out intuitive ideas and connection to other human beings. It is forebrain linear thinking at its most dangerous, allowing us to justify all kinds of insane behaviour. It's predominant and I think its getting worse. People are worried about AI, and maybe rightly so, but perhaps it's still human beings, incapable of understanding who they are at a deeper level of existence that is the real danger. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/sunday-letters/message
